Remember God's Sovereignty!

When we are in the midst of trials, it is so easy to focus on what we see rather than on what is unseen. God calls us to a life of faith in Him in good times and bad. We live in an imperfect world governed by imperfect people. I think King Solomon says it best in Ecclesiastes 7:14:

When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future (NIV).

So many crises have come and gone throughout man’s history. Yes, there is often real pain and suffering as a result but a life lived without hope is not really worth living at all. As you walk through this day, turn to Him over and over whispering, “Lord, I trust in you … whatever happens - my life is in Your hands.
